Tuesday

Today the team is working on painting the new classroom building. Today I´m helping Galen pull images for the wall mural that will decorate the inside walls. This required a trip to the local cyber cafe ¨Ciber Click¨. These guys have been incredibly helpful and would be strong competition for our local Kinko´s. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has been pitching in on the work projects. Our translators have been drywalling, Flor and the children have been shoveling to prepare for the new concrete patio and the rest of us painting, shoveling or preparing for class. Yesterday the flat tire count had reached 4! It was quickly deduced that nails and screws from construction of the new building were the culprit. A task force was organized and the sandy-dirt surrounding the buildings was shoveled and screened. In the end a good portion of a 5-gallon bucket was filled with nails and screws!
